Booking Tips
When you choose Pulse Mobile Disco all bookings are confirmed in writing and are secured by a small deposit to be paid shortly after taking the booking. You will also receive a questionnaire so I can tailor the night’s entertainment to your requirements. You will have a signed contract outlining date, times and venue etc, so you can be sure that I will turn up on the night.
When making a booking please try to provide the following information.
- Venue Details including full address and Function Room / Suite name (if applicable)
- Times from / to
- Who you are
- Who the function is for
- The type of event (Wedding, Birthday, Dinner Dance etc)
- Approximate number of guests
- If you have other entertainment
- What time you plan on holding buffet breaks, guest speeches & cake cutting ceremony etc.
Party Tips
Below are a few tips for making your party a success.
Venue
When booking your venue, remember to allow time for your DJ, catering and bar staff to set up and clear away... and be realistic about the time you want the event to start... for instance it's not always easy for working people to get to a party much before 7:30pm.
Surprise!!!
If it's a surprise party, make sure all the guests know what time the 'target' is due to arrive... and try enlarging old photos of the party star(s) on a copier to pin up and have fun with!
Food
People often don't want to dance until they have had something to eat and drink. Try and have the food served earlier rather than later.
Music
Tell me in advance what songs you would like to hear, and don't forget to inform me of the songs you definitely DON'T want to hear as well!
It's Your Party Too...
It is possible to have a great party with just a few friends, but "the more the merrier"... and remember, if you plan a party properly, then YOU will be able to have as much fun as your guests!
